The Service of Exceptional Vendors

1 Jun

In economics, a service is an intangible commodity. They cannot be touched, gripped, handled, looked at, smelled, tasted.

Service is the one thing that you should focus on for your big day. Let me explain why.

We have all experienced HORRIBLE service and EXCEPTIONAL service. It is the one thing that can make or break your day. It baffles me every time I experience a rude waitress or an egotistical customer service rep because I can’t see how they are still in business with such a flawed business strategy.

More and more it seems that companies are not concerned with giving exceptional service, especially in the wedding industry. It is a unique industry because it is made up primarily of first-time, non-repeat customers. A wedding is a one-time event and doesn’t have repeat business… so if you’re unhappy with the service on your wedding day, vendors may not necessarily care.

I have an arsenal of stories of vendors who, in my opinion, have chosen to run their business primarily for the money that a wedding can bring in, without any concern for the happiness of the couple and the service they provide that couple on their wedding day. We also have our vendors that we will recommend all day long for going above and beyond for our mutual client.

Just like kindergarten, there are vendors who are awesome team players and pitch in to make it a fabulous event and there are vendors who place blame and responsibility on others, collect their check and hit the road.  So, how do you know in what way a vendor will treat your event before it’s too late?

It‘s what we specialize in. We can help you pick the exceptional vendors. We believe in the happiness of our clients…. it’s our passion…. and that starts with a team of exceptional vendors. That’s why we are called merrymakers…

Everyone deserves a perfect wedding day. When you focus on hiring the BEST vendors, your event will flow smoothly and perfectly because you have the team behind you to make it happen….. isn’t that the most important thing?

We think it is.
